The celebration of Paul Campbell’s life will be held on Friday August 18 at 11am at Trinity. The service will be recorded and posted on our website ( Trinity United Church | A Diverse Christian Community…supporting one another…living our faith (trinityunitedwinnipeg.com) ) Friday evening. 

We hold in prayer the Mel Love and family on the death of Julie Love .

We hold in prayer Ethel and their family on the death of Paul Campbell. The celebration of Paul’s life is on August 18th at 11am at Trinity.

We hold in prayer Susan and Doug Delaney’s family members Darryl and Diane Knight as they move through health struggles. They are grateful for all our prayers. 

With the community of Dauphin, we grieve the loss and trauma of the June 15 bus crash that took the lives of 17 people and left many injured, and so many grieving. Our hearts break, and God’s heart breaks. Please pray for the loved ones of the victims, survivors, first responders and medical staff, the communities of Dauphin and Carberry and area, and all affected by this horrible accident near Carberry. May God bless those whose lives have been lost, and may God’s love hold close all who are grieving. May we all be living expressions of God’s love in this time of grief.

We hold in prayer community members and families as we mourn Rebecca Contois, Morgan Harris, Marcedes Myran, and Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe and all Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

We hold in prayer Lorraine Antosh as she is in hospital.

We continue to hold the people of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon, Saskatchewan in our prayers.

Upon hearing the preliminary research findings on deaths and unmarked graves at the Alberni residential institution, The United Church of Canada, both regionally and nationally, hears the Tseshaht First Nation’s specific Calls for Truth and Justice directed to us, and commits to continued conversation with them about specific actions in response. Every Child Matters.

We celebrate with joy Harry and Ellen Johnson‘s granddaughter Abbey and Sam who are getting married in Winnipeg.

We hold in prayer the family and friends of Doris Kristjanson who died July 31, 2023.
