*TRINITY OUTDOOR CLEAN UP Saturday May 23, 1:00-3:00 p.m. 🌞 It looks like a nice spring day forecast for Saturday May 23. We need some helping hands to pick up branches that the strong winds brought down and garbage accumulated over the winter. Once that is done the grass cutting contractor will use his riding mower to Vacuum the grounds. We can then wash the windows and repaint the yellow lines in the paved parking lot. Come out and enjoy an hour or two to spruce up our church and grounds. Bring a bucket and a rake. Garbage bags will be available. Thank you for your help.
*Outreach News – This year, instead of Habitat for Humanity, Trinity will be offering their support to the Garden Tour, Tea, Craft and Plant Sale, the fundraising initiative for 1JustCity. We are asking you to offer your support by supplying baking for the Bake Sale on June 20, 2026. Baking must be in the church office by Thursday noon, on June 18. Baking items should be packaged in 6’s (muffins, cupcakes) or a dozen (cookies). For further information about the requirements for donations, please contact one of the Outreach members. Are you passionate about music as a vehicle for worship? We are looking for more members to join our hymn selection team! With Damber, Tierney, and Christian, the team meets quarterly to choose Trinity’s service music for the upcoming 3 months. Service dates are divided into “assignments” to lighten the workload, with all putting forward suggestions for a monthly opening and offering hymn. We make our choices based on reference to weekly Scripture readings, over-arching themes of the season, and congregational preference – there are plenty of easily accessible resources available to to support you in the process! We meet on Zoom for roughly an hour, most often during weekday mornings. Meeting times can be scheduled based on member availability! Good Shepherd Anglican has confirmed clergy for our joint summer services. It is The Rev. John Giroux, Métis Anglican priest. He’ll be with us for the Summer. He’s very personable and will be enjoyed by both parishes.
