TUC Announcements for March 26, 2026

Worship: Sunday March 29, 10:45 a.m.; Palm Sunday

We are grateful to Joann Sauve and Mary Ann Koop  for cashiering this Sunday. 

EASTER SERVICES:

April 2 – Maundy Thursday  – TUC is invited to join the GSA service at 6:15 p.m. 

April 3 – Good Friday10:45 a.m.

April 5 – Two Services – Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 6:45 a.m.  

                                         Easter Sunday Worship  at our regular service time at 10:45 a.m.

Good Friday Meditation

You are invited to bring a written prayer for the world on Good Friday Service. If you wish, you may write your prayer on a piece of paper or cloth and place it at the foot of the cross as a sign of hope, lament, and trust.

Ritual at the Cross

On Easter Sunday, April 5, a remembrance board will be placed at the back of the sanctuary. You are warmly invited to write the name(s) of your beloved ones whom you wish to remember on this day of resurrection.

You are also welcome to bring a flower to place on the cross as a sign of love and remembrance. A limited number of flowers will be available for those who may need them.

Trinity Book Sale –   Have you read all your Xmas gift books?  Bring them to Trinity’s book sale/exchange in time for spring break.  (Puzzles also welcome!).  Pay what you please or what you think they’re worth.  Sale will run for 6 weeks, starting now. 

Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner – 6th edition Bidding starts on Sunday, April 19th at 10:15 AM and continues until Sunday, May 3rd at noon, unless we are SOLD OUT with the Buy it Now pricing. 2/3 of your bid price will be tax receipted. ie Bid $60 on a share of a dinner and you receive a tax receipt for $40.

Congratulations to Lily Hemlow for getting First Place in both races that she entered at the Manitoba Provincial Highschool Track Meet. She won both of the Junior Varsity 1500m and 800m, by a lot!!

In our Prayers:

We pray for Elaine Adam who is dealing with health issues.

We hold in prayer Sandi and Eunice Cull as they grieve the loss of their daughter, Dale. In this tender time, we lift up Eunice’s brother, Joseph Brown, who is in hospital struggling with illness. We pray for his healing, strength, and peace, and for God’s comforting presence to surround the whole family

We pray for Milt Muldrew who is dealing with health issues.

We pray for  Bernice Gregory who is dealing with health issues.

We pray for Connie Fillion who is recovering from recent surgery.

We continue to pray for Damber’s family: for Sumi as she continues her recovery and for Sumi’s three nieces, Ameera, Anupaa, and Anuka;

Trinity provides Church Services at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home and the Waverley/Rosewood Retirement Community. We provide a half-hour service at St. Norbert on the first Thursday of every month at 10:30 am and at the Waverley/Rosewood on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 am. Electronics Recycling – Bring your small electronics for recycling – recycle items that fit into the blue box in the narthex. 

Opportunities to serve: There are many volunteer opportunities in the ministry at Trinity. If you are able to offer the gift of time, please let us know. There are opportunities, to serve on committees, to help with one time special events, help serve at funeral lunches and fellowship coffee, to help with technology, read scripture, offer prayers, sing in the choir, to work at bombers games, help with Sunday School and Youth, etc. Please prayerfully consider these opportunities and be in touch with the office (204 269 1632) tuc@mymts.net

We are grateful for every gift given and appreciate all you do for Trinity. We’re always grateful for enthusiastic volunteers to help with worship and other ministries at our church. If you feel called to lend a hand, please stop by the News Board in the Narthex and add your name to the sign-up sheet. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
