We are grateful to Judy and Charles Powell and Ed and Leslie Johnson for cashiering this Sunday.

Irma Nadeau will be on vacation from March 30 to April 7, 2025, inclusive, with a return date of Tuesday, April 8. We wish her well as she looks forward to enjoying times with family.

In our Prayers:

We pray for the family of Jean Hewko as they mourn her death.

We pray for Bernice Gregory who is dealing with health issues.

We pray for Ed and Merle Boyd as Ed is in hospital dealing with health issues.

We pray for Sumi as she continues her recovery following cancer treatment. We pray for Sumi’s three nieces Ameera, Anupaa, and Anuka in the camp in Nepal as they need support for their security and protection.  We pray too for Damber’s mother,  Dhan Khadka as she faces serious health issues. Damber and Sumi are grateful for the prayers and support of the congregation.

We pray for Priest Jennifer Sisson, Good Shepherd Anglican (GSA) and her family as her husband Bishop Geoff Woodcroft faces health issues.

We pray for Bill Monro who is dealing with health issues.

Good Shepherd Anglican Church is inviting Trinity United & Epiphany Lutheran for Maundy Thursday worship on April 17 at 6:15 p.m.  The service will feature a unique setup, with chairs arranged in a circle at the back of the sanctuary, and the altar placed in the center. Communion will be administered to one another, creating a communal and intimate experience for all attendees.

We will be having a joint service on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at The United Church in Meadowood, in partnership with St. Mary’s United, Meadowood United, and Trinity United. The service will begin at 10:45 AM, with refreshments available starting at 10:00 AM. The choir rehearsal will start at 9:15 AM, allowing the choristers to enjoy refreshments before the service. Please mark your calendars and remind your friends and family about the date. We look forward to seeing you all there!

The Celebratory Hymn Sing Service is only three weeks away!

This joint fundraising event of both Trinity and Good Shepherd churches will be held on Sunday, April 27th at 9:30 a.m.

The hymns have already been selected for the event.  If you would like to choose one or more of the selected hymns in honour of someone, or in remembrance of someone, or just to celebrate something… Karen Wall will be in the narthex from 9:30 am until after the Trinity worship service for the next three Sundays (April 6th, 13th and 20th) with forms on which to make your selection. Karen will be able to help answer any questions you have and take your donation at that time.

If you are unable to get to the church on any of those three Sundays, and wish to choose a hymn, feel free to e-mail Karen at:

kwall@mymts.net

… or phone or text her at: 204-797-1732 and she will ensure that your request is honoured.  Your donations will go to the church of your choice.

All hymns selected will be available on the PowerPoint during the services, and on a printed bulletin that will be available that day for you to have as a keepsake, if you so wish.
