“Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” Colossians 3:14 (NRSV)
Worship service: January 26, 2025 at 10:45 a.m. with lunch to follow (see announcement below)
We are grateful to Ed and Isabel Tymofichuk and Ken and Elaine Johnson for cashiering this Sunday.
In our Prayers:
We pray for Sumi, Damber and family on the death of Sumi’s sister Kumari. We pray for Kumari’s three daughters.
We continue to pray for restored health for Sumi as she has finished radiation treatment. Damber and Sumi are grateful for the prayers and support of the congregation.
We pray for Connie Fillion as she mourns the death of her sister-in-law Betty Fillion.
We pray for Priest Jennifer Sisson, Good Shepherd Anglican (GSA) and her family as her husband Bishop Geoff Woodcroft faces health issues.
We pray for Bill Monro who is dealing with health issues.
Coming on January 26 after church service: Committee/Team Education Fair
While a light lunch is available people can attain information on the various activities that manage the church business and keep the church connected to the larger committee. People from the various committees will be present to describe their activities.
Other opportunities: Once a month meetings and other activities associated with being on a committee does not suit some people. If you have free time over the year there are many activities that you can help with. Your presence and support for the committee work and the activities of the church is always welcome. Thank you,
Nomination Committee: Barbara Tallman, Nancy Delong, Wynn Ferguson

Good Shepherd Painting Event Rescheduled – for February 22 in the Lower hall from 9:00 a.m. until about noon. Now that the busy holiday season has left us looking for something else to do, why not try your hand at painting? If you think you have no artistic talent this event could prove you wrong! With the able tutelage from Garth (well-known Prairie artist) and Di (the Encourager) you will create something worthy of hanging in your home … really. What to paint is entirely up to you … it’s not one of those ‘everybody paints the same thing’ kind of workshops. Start time is 9 am in the Lower Hall and we’ll paint till around noon. Then we’ll have a soup lunch (3 varieties) with bread/buns and dessert – all provided. The cost is $75/person ($25 will go to Di and Garth for supply costs and $50 to Good Shepherd). Just because it’s a fundraiser for Good Shepherd does by no means mean that no one else can join. We’d love to have some Trinity folks come and enjoy in the comradery and food but most of all in the fun and encouragement of each other! Cheques should be made out to Church of the Good Shepherd and put in our Wardens’ mailbox (above the coat rack, close to the GS office). There are a few spots still open … you’d be most welcome!

From Maryann: Trinity Walkers – Hello 2025! It’s 2025, I haven’t seen you lately and I am missing our walks. Are you getting outside or have you reverted to mall walking? If you are mall walking, where are you going? The Outlet mall, St Vital mall or maybe Ikea? Let me know and let’s arrange to get together. Together we build friendships and a caring community. Take care, Maryann
Electronics Recycling – The electronics recycling is continuing, thanks to the kind volunteer time of Carl and Margaret Shaykewich. Please only put recycle items that fit into the blue recycling box. NO large items, such as appliances or tv’s. It is also helpful if you package small items like batteries in a plastic baggie. Thank you.
