On Sunday, September 15, 2024 worship starts at 10:45 a.m. The service will include the baptism of Kaya Harper. The children are invited to stay for the baptism and will then go downstairs for Sunday School.

*September 22 2:30pm – Covenanting service with Rev. Damber Khadka at 2:30 p.m. – there will not be a morning service.

From Damber: Scripture to Ponder & Prayer, September 15, 2024 Seventeenth after Pentecost, Proper 17.
Scripture Passage:
- Romans 6:3-4 – “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
- 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 – This passage speaks about the unity and diversity of the Body of Christ.
Objective: To understand the significance of baptism in uniting believers with Christ’s death and resurrection and to explore how this unity extends to the diversity of gifts and roles within the Body of Christ.
Prayer:
Loving God,
We lift up our hearts in gratitude for Your presence and guidance. We ask that You bless each one, filling us with Your wisdom and strength.
Send us out with renewed purpose to live out our faith actively. Help us to be a source of encouragement and support, contributing to the unity of Your Body, the Church.
May Your love shine through us in all that we do, and may we carry the light of Christ into every aspect of our lives.
Grant us peace, joy, and the courage to follow You wholeheartedly.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
