On Sunday, May 5, Maureen McCartney will lead worship.
***Red Dress Sunday: Red Dress Day honours the memories of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls across Canada. Métis artist Jaime Black helped inspire the red dress movement, where red dresses are hung from windows and trees to represent the pain and loss felt by loved ones and survivors.
***From Caring Connections: There will be lap afghans on display at the back of the church this Sunday, May 5th. If you have a family member or someone else that you know who would benefit from the love, care, and warmth of an afghan, please feel free to take one to them.
We are grateful to Terry and Nancy DeLong and Glen and Sandi Fitzmaurice for cashiering this Sunday.
The Regional Licensed Lay Worship Leaders are meeting at Trinity on Friday, May 3.

Trinity Services at 2 Personal Care Homes:
Trinity volunteers put on a half hour service once a month at both the St. Norbert Personal Care home, and the Waverley/Rosewood retirement residence.
This month, we had about 30 residents attend in St. Norbert – that is a record number! A full house of about 50 attended at the Waverley.
We enjoy doing it and residents at both locations are very appreciative.
Our upcoming service is at the Waverley/Rosewood on May 8 at 10:30am. This is the last service before we break for the summer (June, July, and August).
Services include hymn singing, scripture readings, short poems/readings, prayers, a short message, and end with a blessing.
Our team consists of Debbie Spindler, Maryann Koop, Barbara Tallman, Val McKay, Joann Sauve, Roberta Irvine, Marguerite Zaworonok, Terry DeLong, and Nancy DeLong. (not everyone is available every month).
If you would like to join us before we break for the summer, please contact Nancy or Terry at 204-254-3450. Car-pooling can be arranged. Thank you.
