This Sunday, October 1st, 10:45am, in person and online World Communion Sunday.

Sermon by phone: 204 410 1384

Thanksgiving Sunday is a time when we are grateful for many things: family, friends, homes and food on our tables to name a few. To share our gratitude  we are collecting items for West Broadway Community Ministry and Camp Morgan at the Brady Landfill.

Camp Morgan: because of the changing nature of the weather, Outreach folks will purchase what they need; also donations of wood are needed for the sacred fire and keeping warm; money can be dropped into the Camp Morgan jar (the one with the heart stickers all over it!)

West Broadway: fruit cups, canned tuna, salmon, or meat, cereal and oatmeal; men’s and women’s warm socks and long underwear

Everything can be dropped off and/or placed on the sanctuary stairs until Sunday October 15th

BOOKS!  BOOKS!  BOOKS!
Are your shelves cluttered with your summer “beach reads”?  Or are you looking to stock up for the coming winter months?  Bring your books to Trinity during the month of October and take a few home – “Pay what you please”.  Tell your friends who may not attend Trinity; the table will be set up on some Saturdays as well as during the week. Thank you.  Isabel Tymofichuk

United Church Calendars: are available now and cost around $8; please be in touch with Gerta if you’d like to purchase one!

We continue to hold the people of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon, Saskatchewan in our prayers.

Upon hearing the preliminary research findings on deaths and unmarked graves at the Alberni residential institution, The United Church of Canada, both regionally and nationally, hears the Tseshaht First Nation’s specific Calls for Truth and Justice directed to us, and commits to continued conversation with them about specific actions in response. Every Child Matters.
