Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Happy 2023 to our Trinity Staff! One of Trinity’s traditions over the years has been to recognize our much-appreciated staff members during the Christmas season. On behalf of our congregation, Ministry and Personnel Committee members present Christmas cards and Gift Cards at this time to Elizabeth, Paul, Irma, Héctor, Tierney, Samantha and Kathy. May Blessings of God’s Love and Presence be experienced richly by all.

We hold in prayer the family of Geraldine Irving as they mourn her death last week. A service will be held later in the new year.

Please hold in prayer the family of Hatigje Hasani as they mourn her death and celebrated her life last week. You may remember Hatigje and her husband Ali as refugees from Kosovo who came to Canada in 1999. At that time they received some support from Trinity members as they made a new life in Canada. Both Ali and Hatigje worked as caretakers at Trinity several years ago.

We hold in prayer community members and families as we mourn Rebecca Contois, Morgan Harris, Marcedes Myran, and Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe and all Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

We hold in prayer those who have been devastated by Hurricane Fiona, including the people in the Maritimes.

We hold in prayer Lorraine Antosh as she is in hospital.

We continue to hold the people of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon, Saskatchewan in our prayers.

Take a look at the Stars displayed on the wall in the Sanctuary. Take a look at the bulletin board to see Christmas Greetings from folks from away.

Please consider a “Christmas gift” to Trinity this year. Donations to Trinity United Church will be received until December 27th at midnight to be included in the 2022 year amounts. Thank you to all who have given gifts to Trinity this year.
