We hold in prayer and congratulate Jon Romu on receiving the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal!
We hold in prayer Hatigje Hasani and her family as Hatigje undergoes treatment for end-stage cancer. You may remember Hatigje and her husband Ali as refugees from Kosovo who came to Canada in 1999. At that time, they received some support from Trinity members as they made a new life in Canada. Both Ali and Hatigje worked as caretakers at Trinity several years ago.
We hold in prayer the families of the four murdered women in Winnipeg
We hold in prayer those who have been devastated by Hurricane Fiona, including the people in the Maritimes.
We hold in prayer Lorraine Antosh as she is in hospital.
We continue to hold the people of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon, Saskatchewan in our prayers.

A huge thank you from the Outreach committee and Dalhousie School for your generous donations for the Miracle Store and the family hampers. As always, the congregation gets behind the Outreach projects in a big way. Your support is so appreciated. Many families in our area will be enjoying beautiful gifts from their excited and proud children. The hampers will help to supplement their groceries especially during this Christmas season. THANK YOU!
The Stewardship Committee sent out an email last week with some important information about a “Christmas Gift for Trinity”. Please contact the office if you’d like a 3/4 statement of your donations for this year.
We are grateful to Gerta De Jong, Marilyn Loat and Karen Wall for cashiering this Sunday.
Scriptures for Sunday; Isaiah 7:10-16; Psalm 80:1-7, 17-19; Romans 1:1-7; Matthew 1:18-25
Scripture to ponder: 98:4-9: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises. Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody. With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord. Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the world and those who live in it. Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing together for joy at the presence of the Lord
Prayer: Creator God, may we notice signs of love present in our everyday lives in the week ahead. Amen
