Advent begins next Sunday November 27th with our “Destination Bethlehem” event during the service! If you’d like to help out in a speaking role, as a guard or friendly companion, please be in touch with Elizabeth.

We continue to hold the people of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon, Saskatchewan in our prayers.

Scriptures for Sunday; Jeremiah 23:1-6; Luke 1:68-79; Colossians 1:11-20; Luke 23:33-44

Scripture to ponder: Psalm 46: God is our mighty fortress, always ready to help in times of trouble. And so, we won’t be afraid! Let the earth tremble and the mountains tumble into the deepest sea. Let the ocean roar and foam, and its raging waves shake the mountains. A river and its streams bring joy to the city, which is the sacred home of God Most High. God is in that city, and it won’t be shaken. God will help it at dawn.

Prayer: Creator God, may we know your presence as we wander through our lives and share your love with all we meet. Amen
