**Save the date!**  Sunday September 11th at 10:45am – Welcome back Sunday! An outdoor service with communion, music, prayer and after enjoy a refreshment and games for all ages. Bring your lawn chairs or use one of ours; connect with your friends and come together; begin the year with a time of faith and fellowship! If you have an outdoor game for any age, bring it along for us to play!

We’d love to fill the grocery cart for West Broadway this Sunday! Please bring a food item for the emergency cupboard or supplies for supper meals they prepare and serve. Always needed are: pasta, sauce, beans, canned vegetables, meat or fish, rice, soups, oatmeal, cereal, granola bars.

or hygiene supplies including shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant.

The Bombers are looking for a few more people to work the Banjo Bowl on Saturday September 10th from 12:30-4:30pm to sell tickets for parking. If you’d like to help out, please be in touch with Irma or Marilyn or Elizabeth. If you’ve never done this before and would like to try for this game, we can give you a bit of training to help you. They are expecting a lot of people and having extra folks to sell tickets for parking would be an enormous help; plus it would be a bonus for Trinity’s fundraising efforts! The time goes by quickly and you’ll be done shortly after kickoff.

A new Administrative Assistant has been hired. Kathy Parker started last week! A big thank you to Carolyn Pierson, Elaine Hansen and Irma Nadeau who have covered the office until Kathy began and will train Kathy when she starts her duties.

Summer hours at TrinityMonday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The office is closed on Fridays. Office hours return to regular hours (9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday) next week. If you need to access the office outside of those hours please call Elizabeth or Irma to arrange a time.

Scripture to ponder: Psalm 71:1-3:  In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me and save me.
Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.  .

Scripture for Sunday August 28th – Jeremiah 18:1-11; Psalm 1; Philemon 1-21; Luke 14:24-33

Prayer: Holy one, in you we find strength, courage, love and grace. Be with us on our journey today, bringing us what we need – even when we’re uncertain or afraid. Amen.

Trinity continues to follow the guidelines that the board prayerfully put into place on February 23, 2022. Masks and hand sanitizing along with safe distancing is required for all in person gatherings.
