Moment for Tuesday May 31, 2022

As promised Elizabeth sent this video after her first month on sabbatical: https://youtu.be/O5DXCMynvDU

Rev. Paul DuVal will be working 10 hours a week at Trinity while Elizabeth is away on sabbatical. Paul’s contact information is: email: paulduval@mymts.net or cell phone 204-232-2632 (text or call)

The worship committee has arranged a variety of exciting worship leaders for May, June and July while Elizabeth is away on sabbatical leave. You’ll be hearing from new voices and familiar ones and we invite you watch these emails for details; you won’t want to miss a single Sunday!

On June 5, Dr. Rev. Paul Campbell will deliver a Pentecost message and share communion with us.

We have in person worship every Sunday at 10:45 AM; please bring your QR code and wear a mask. Recorded worship and sermon by phone will continue and all services will be the same.

Sermon by phone: Listen to the recording of Sunday worship each week by calling a local phone number (204 410 1384); please share this information with your friends who don’t have internet access; the recording will be available each week on Friday and will be available until the following Friday.

Scripture for the week: Acts 2:1-21; Psalm 104:24-34, 35b; Romans 8:14-17; John 14:8-17

A big thank you to all the volunteers who worked at the bomber game on May 27! We had a great start and look forward to the football season.

The Fellowship Committee is looking for a volunteer coordinator for funeral luncheons. The coordinator will: communicate with family to decide on the type of lunch they wish to have served and the costs involved (options are in the brochure); call upon volunteers (from list provided) to help set up before hand, serve during, and clean up following the luncheon; order and arrange for the food to be brought to the church; submit all bills to the office for reimbursement and notify the office of the cost to the family for invoicing. Please call the office or be in touch with Ruth Graham (204-269-0274 – you can leave a message) or Irma if you are interested.

From Caring Connections: It’s spring! How about connecting with one of your Trinity in the Trinity congregation to say hello and share updates. Hearing from a friend can be uplifting. It’s been a challenge keeping up those contacts with Trinity friends during this time of what seems like endless restrictions during these past 2 years. A very big thank you to all who have been phoning and sending cards to folks who might be feeling isolated during this time. This is such an important part of the life of the church. We also want to let you know that Paul DuVal is available for pastoral care. If you become aware of folks who may need a pastoral connection please contact the Trinity office at 204-269-1632 / tuc@mymts.net with attention to Irma or Paul.
