Here is a note from the General Council office:
We are heartbroken by the news coming out of Kamloops, as we know many people are—and now by the news from the Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan. Please continue to hold space for all our Indigenous relations as the true extent of the findings becomes clearer. Moderator Richard Bott and Executive Minister, Indigenous Ministries and Justice Murray Pruden have written a message to the people of The United Church in Canada in response to the Kamloops Residential School graves discovery. You may find these prayers helpful as well.
Sunday is the last day to respond to the survey! Thank you to all who have completed it. Shared Summer Worship Services
Trinity has joined with Westminster, Spirit Path, Transcona Memorial and UC in Meadowood to offer shared worship for the summer months (July 4th to August 22nd). Each week will be led by a different church and every church will take part in each week’s service; this may be in the form of music, prayers, scripture reading or reflection. The link to the service will be sent out on Thursday in the regular email; each service will be uploaded to “Sermon by Phone”, and will be available in the regular way we access online worship. We hope you join with your friends to worship in the Shared Summer Worship Services!
Watch for the link for Sunday July 4th in the worship email sent on Thursday July 1st, access it when you’re able to participate and enjoy seeing our neighbour’s worship space!

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
