Trinity Trek to Turkey (Winnipeg) – The Prairie to Pine Youth and Young Adults (YAYA) are raising funds to help sponsor a family from Turkey with Young United Church and Trinity has a team! You can join our team as an individual and add your steps (inside your building or outside as you wander the streets) between June 14th-19th to the total (they are aiming for 900 kms total which is 1/10th of the distance from Turkey to Winnipeg) or by donating to our team (they are aiming for $8,000 total). In this time when we are mourning, lamenting and wondering about our faith and our world, this is a positive “step” to follow Jesus’ example of compassion, unconditional love, and sharing with others. If you have any questions, please be in touch with Elizabeth or Angela (204 897 2253). To add your steps, keep track of your steps and let us know the total and we’ll add them in. You can call the office (204 269 1632) each day, send an email to Angela ( ) each day, or keep a running (!) total and send them in on Friday morning.
To donate: choose the Trinity Trek to Turkey (Winnipeg) team here:
thank you!

We are looking for someone to help out with the payroll duties for Trinity. Everything is now online and tasks are twice a month. Please be in touch with Gerta or the office if you would like to help out or know someone who has these skills or might want to learn.

Sermon by Phone: Listen to the recording of Sunday worship each week by calling a local phone number (204 410 1384); please share this information with your friends who don’t have internet access; the recording is uploaded each week on Thursday and will be available until the following Wednesday.

Many of our programs are taking a break so everyone can enjoy being outside (and not at our computers!) and will resume in the fall. Yoga continues to be offered on Zoom; please be in touch with Irma or Wynn if you wish to join in.
Holy Yoga: Saturdays at 10-11am; followed by coffee, if you wish to stay on.
SSCFFyoga: Mondays at 3-4pm.

Thank you to all the Trinity mystery gardeners who have come to plant flowers, look after the weeds and have contributed to making everything beautiful for all to enjoy!

The “Strata Quilt Worship Wall Hanging” quilt (picture attached) was made by Marion from Trinity Sew and Sews. She says, It was fun! And it didn’t drive me crazy. Not perfect but a good learning experience.

Scripture: Psalm 9:9-11. God is a safe-house for the battered, a sanctuary during bad times. The moment you arrive, you relax; you’re never sorry you knocked. Sing your songs to Zion-dwelling God, tell his stories to everyone you meet.

Prayer: Holy, creating God, in this season of Pentecost we experience your spirit everywhere. In extraordinary and ordinary moments, we know you are active in our world. May we add our actions to yours so that your love may be known everywhere. Amen.

Know that we are praying for each one of you as you find your way through this time. If you have comments, suggestions, or any thoughts about worship or how you’re doing, please be in touch. Trinity is here for you and we will respond. May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
