We welcome and thank Reverend Dr. Paul Campbell for leading us in worship in this week. Paul mentions donations to St. Andrew’s and you can donate here: https://stu.usask.ca/standrews/donors-alumni/donatenow.php
From Paul: “In my brief introduction to Theological Education in today’s worship, I failed to mention two very important centres:The Centre for Christian Studies is a training centre for Diaconal ministry here in Winnipeg; and the Saulteaux Spiritual Resource Centre is a training location for candidates training for ministry among/within our Aboriginal community, located just outside of Beausejour. Along with seminaries for ordained candidates, these two Canadian schools offer vitally important preparation programs for ministry candidates.”
Elizabeth is on study leave from June 7-13 and working from home.
Trinity Trek to Turkey (Winnipeg) – The Prairie to Pine Youth and Young Adults (YAYA) are raising funds to help sponsor a family from Turkey with Young United Church and Trinity has a team! You can join our team as an individual and add your steps between June 14th-19th to the total (they are aiming for 900 kms total which is 1/10th of the distance from Turkey to Winnipeg) or by donating to our team (they are aiming for $8,000 total). In this time when we are mourning, lamenting and wondering about our faith and our world, this is a positive “step” to follow Jesus’ example of compassion, unconditional love, and sharing with others. If you have any questions, please be in touch with Elizabeth or Angela (204 897 2253).

We hold the family of Carol Rohringer in our hearts as she died last week in Saipan where she was with her family.
We hold Allison and Gordon Challis in our hearts as they celebrated the life of Allison’s brother Murray last week.
A message from the Moderator, Richard Bott: Tonight, I join the many across Canada to condemn the act of religiously motivated hatred and violence that place in London, Ontario, on Sunday – the murder of a Muslim family and an act of terror against Islam. Let us be with all those who mourn. Let us use all that we have and all that we are, to stand in the face of evil that would allow and cause this crime of hatred. Even as one man has been arrested for his actions, let us uncover and work against the belies, the worldview, the racism and hatred that supported his choice. May the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful God dwell with those who have died, in paradise, and give patience and blessing to those who mourn this time of trial.
We at Trinity extend our gratitude to Dallis Kelly whose resignation, effective June14, we have accepted with regret. We remember fondly Dallis’ presence as our office administrator and we wish her well moving forward. Here is a short video of her presentation: https://youtu.be/USSAqTAstNQ.

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
