Worship from Trinity June 6, 2021

Here is the link to the Worship service for Sunday, June 6, 2021:

We at Trinity extend our gratitude to Dallis Kelly whose resignation, effective June 14, we have accepted with regret. We remember fondly Dallis’ presence as our office administrator and we wish her well moving forward. We hope she will enjoy this summer relaxing at the lake.
In response to the discovery of 215 children’s remains at the Kamloop, BC Residential School last week, the Board of Trinity United decided at its meeting on June 2nd, to donate $215 to the United Church Healing Fund. The Healing Fund, established in 1994, is a grant that supports healing initiatives in Indigenous communities to address the ongoing impacts of the residential school system. Many name a need for mending, restoring, and celebrating—a sense of loss, along with hope for rebuilding identity. If you’d like to know more about this fund and donate to this fund individually, please go to: and scroll down to the “donate online” or the address to send a cheque.

At Trinity United Church, we have responded to the challenge of not being able to safely meet together by offering online worship opportunities. The Board would like to understand your experience with online worship. We are conducting a survey intended primarily for those who have worshipped online with us but is open to everyone who identifies themselves as part of the Trinity community. We welcome you input. Instructions are provided in the survey. If you know folks who are part of the Trinity community and may not know about the survey, please pass this information to them.

The anonymous survey is available at   If you need assistance completing the survey or would like a paper version of the survey, please contact the TUC office at 204-269-1632.This survey will close on:  June 27 2021

Have you wondered how worship services at Trinity are produced? Would you like to learn how to record services for Trinity? We are looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to record using the new video camera, sometimes edit the recording, and upload the recording to youtube. Although it sounds difficult, with a few lessons, you can master the fine art of this important part of our online worship experience! Please be in touch with Elizabeth if you’d like to explore this opportunity.

We are looking for someone to help out with the payroll duties for Trinity. Everything is now online and tasks are twice a month. Please be in touch with Gerta or the office if you would like to help out or know someone who has these skills or might want to learn.

Sermon by Phone: This week, the recording will be uploaded at 10am on Sunday morning; listen to the recording of Sunday worship each week by calling a local phone number (204 410 1384); please share this information with your friends who don’t have internet access; the recording is uploaded each week on Thursday and will be available until the following Wednesday

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
