Worship for Trinity United Church for Sunday May 30 2021

A note about worship for this Sunday May 30, 2021: the Worship Committee invites everyone to the Region Worship Service “Our Place in the Rainbow”, a service of worship to celebrate Prairie to Pine becoming an Affirming ministry. Join with church folks from all over Manitoba and northwestern Ontario on Sunday May 30 10-11:30am and bring some bread (or something to eat) and juice or water to celebrate communion. This link will be live at 10am on Sunday morning:
There will be no service from Trinity for this Sunday

We will follow this with a Zoom dessert at noon. Wear your Pride colours and bring a dessert such as PIE pie! We’ll visit and celebrate. Register in advance and you’ll receive the link by email automatically (remember to check your spam folder):…/tJwpc

Gerta De Jong, Karen Wall and Elizabeth are attending the Region Annual Meeting May 28-29, held on Zoom.

Have you wondered how worship services at Trinity are produced? Would you like to learn how to record services for Trinity? We are looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to record using the new video camera, sometimes edit the recording, and upload the recording to youtube. Although it sounds difficult, with a few lessons, you can master the fine art of this important part of our online worship experience! Please be in touch with Elizabeth if you’d like to explore this opportunity.
We are looking for someone to help out with the payroll duties for Trinity. Everything is now online and tasks are twice a month. Please be in touch with Gerta or the office if you would like to help out or know someone who has these skills or might want to learn.

Many of our programs are available on zoom: contact Irma, the office or Elizabeth to join in!
Bible Study: Mondays at 7-8pm; May 31st is the last one until the fall
Bible Journey: has ended until the fall
Holy Yoga: Saturdays at 10-11am; followed by coffee, if you wish to stay on
SSCFFyoga: Mondays at 3-4pm; exercise: Friday at 10:30am is the last one until the fall.
The Walking Group: Hello Walkers.  Due to the new restrictions in place all of our upcoming group walks are cancelled until further notice. If interested in going for solo walks contact me by phone for ideas.  Take care of each other, stay well and keep in touch. I am missing each one of you already.  Maryann
Sunday School gathering: June 2 at 5:45pm
Board: June 2 at 7pm

Sermon by Phone: listen to the recording of Sunday worship each week by calling a local phone number (204 410 1384); please share this information with your friends who don’t have internet access; the recording is uploaded each week on Thursday and will be available until the following Wednesday
Know that we are praying for each one of you as you find your way through this time. If you have comments, suggestions, or any thoughts about worship or how you’re doing, please be in touch. Trinity is here for you and we will respond.

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
