Trinity United Church Worship for Sunday, May 16, 2021

With apologies for the delay because of technical difficulties, here is the worship service:

Today we recorded worship and it can be found at this link: https://youtu.be/GaQ7MVJIZsc

We welcome Rev. Paul Campbell as our worship leader this Sunday! Elizabeth is away on Study Leave May 10-17th. Please call Rev. Paul Campbell for any pastoral emergencies (204 805 6627).  Have you wondered how worship services at Trinity are produced? Would you like to learn how to record services for Trinity? We are looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to record using the new video camera, sometimes edit the recording, and upload the recording to youtube. Although it sounds difficult, with a few lessons, you can master the fine art of this important part of our online worship experience! Please be in touch with Elizabeth if you’d like to explore this opportunity.
We are looking for someone to help out with the payroll duties for Trinity. Everything is now online and tasks are twice a month. Please be in touch with Gerta or the office if you would like to help out or know someone who has these skills or might want to learn.

Many of our programs are available on zoom: contact Irma, the office or Elizabeth to join in!
Bible Study: Mondays at 7-8pm
Holy Yoga: Saturdays at 10-11am; followed by coffee, if you wish to stay on
SSCFFyoga: Mondays at 3-4pm; exercise: Wednesdays at 10:30-11:30am and Friday at 10:30.
The Walking Group
Hello Walkers.  Due to the new restrictions in place all of our upcoming group walks are cancelled until further notice. If interested in going for solo walks contact me by phone for ideas.  Take care of each other, stay well and keep in touch.I am missing each one of you already.  Maryann

Sermon by Phone: listen to the recording of Sunday worship each week by calling a local phone number (204 410 1384); please share this information with your friends who don’t have internet access; the recording is uploaded each week on Thursday and will be available until the following Wednesday

Know that we are praying for each one of you as you find your way through this time. If you have comments, suggestions, or any thoughts about worship or how you’re doing, please be in touch. Trinity is here for you and we will respond.

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Elizabeth

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
