Trinity United Worship for April 4

Today we recorded worship and it can be found at this link: https://youtu.be/uHmGXMKMsXI

This is a communion service so bring a candle, a piece of bread (bun, cracker, cookie) and something to drink (grape, apple, orange juice, water) to worship.

Please join us for “From the Table to the Cross,” a Good Friday service with Moderator Richard Bott and members of the General Council Executive. We will gather online to remember stories of Jesus’ final hour and sing and pray together. If you are able, please bring a glass of water, a flower, and a candle to help to set the table that reaches far beyond our own walls and screens. Available for streaming starting at 8:30 a.m. Winnipeg time, April 2 on YouTube: youtube.com/unitedchurchofcanada . We will send out the link in an email early on Fridaymorning so you may take part when you’re able.

Happy Easter to everyone even as we worship at home! The risen Christ is part of our lives no matter where we are; may we know God’s presence in our worship and lives.

Know that we are praying for each one of you as you find your way through this time. If you have comments, suggestions, or any thoughts about worship or how you’re doing, please be in touch. Trinity is here for you and we will respond.

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Elizabeth

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
