Trinity United Worship for March 7, 2021

Here is the link: https://youtu.be/qSWchtN26yQ

We are celebrating communion and if you can bring a candle, a piece of bread, bun, cracker, cookie or something to eat and something to drink, we’ll celebrate together.

Action Auction is ready to go for Saturday March 6th at noon! thanks to everyone who has registered already; if you haven’t, please click on one of the links: (https://charityauction.bid/TrinityUnitedChurchWinnipeg  OR  https://www.auctria.com/auction/TrinityUnitedChurchWinnipeg ) OR follow the link in the email from Wednesday; scroll down under the count down clock, you’ll see three blue boxes.

Click on the blue “Register” box to register and receive your bidder number.Once you’ve registered, click on the “Auction” box to look through the catalogue, remembering there are four pages of items. Make note of the number of your favourite items. You can do this ahead of time.

On Saturday, at noon, follow the same link to the Auction website, click on the “Auction” box and find your favourite item; click on the picture or words which will take you to the bidding page; then place your bid! Many of the items have a “buy it now!” price or you can bid and you’ll be notified by email when someone else makes a higher bid. Some items are offered multiple times (there are 2 lemon merainge pies, 4 golf games at Carmen, 2 life story writings, 5 transformative writing skills, some soup orders, 2 nuts and bolts, etc.) so be sure to check each one if one is sold. Some are one of a kind and once it’s sold, it’s gone! There are about a dozen items that will remain open to March 27th with the item going to the highest bidder.
GOOD LUCK!

You may have heard the latest provincial health orders about changing number of people for regular Sunday worship. The Executive is meeting on March 17 and the Board on March 24th to consider these changes and will send out a letter to the congregation once they have made any decisions. Because the carpet is being installed March 12-19th and we are out of our building for those days and we’ll have to unpack items after March 22nd, there is no rush at the present time.

Many of our programs continue on zoom by internet connection or by phone: contact Irma or Elizabeth to join in!
Bible Study: Mondays at 7-8pm
Holy Yoga: Saturdays at 10-11am; followed by coffee, if you wish to stay on
SSCFFyoga: Mondays at 3-4pm; exercise: Wednesdays at 10:30-11:30am

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Elizabeth

Because of the Provincial Health order moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
