VIRTUAL AUCTION DEADLINE – The planning for Trinity’s Virtual Auction is in its final stages. We have received some amazing, creative and fun items and activities for the auction, and we are excited for you to see what is available.
In order to have sufficient time to prepare the auction for an on-line platform, the Auction Committee has placed a deadline of this coming Friday, January 15th as the last day to receive auction donations. If you would like to donate an offering to the auction, please contact Dale Kendel at bdkendel@shaw.ca or Karen Wall at kwall@mymts.net by no later than this Friday.
Your donation should be described as specifically as possible. Also, if it is an item, an actual picture of the item or an internet image facsimile would be appreciated. You may also want to offer your opinion as to the “Buy Now” price and the “Minimum Bid” price for your offering.
We are collecting fruit and granola bars for West Broadway Community Ministry;we hold Lynda Trono and her family in our prayers on the death of her mother of COVID

If you were wondering about the quilts made before Christmas for the “baby bundles” from St. Boniface Hospital, pictures are attached and Mary writes:
The pictures below are of the baby quilts for St. Boniface. As usual, we have exceeded ourselves in this project! Jo-Anne made some press-on labels for the quilts. You can see one of them in place on a quilt in the picture below. I received 42 quilts. Of these, 2 were over-size. One has been re-directed to Snowflake Place (a child advocacy centre which focuses on the needs of children and youth who have experienced abuse), and the other will go to Hands of Hope (provide free furniture and household goods to people in need in Winnipeg… committed to providing an efficient and effective support to families and individuals whose lives are broken by poverty, oppression, exclusion and abuse. ) One quilt was specifically for Cancer Care Manitoba, and has been given to a lady who works at the Breast Health Centre, across the road from the Misericordia Cancer Care Centre. She will deliver the quilt. 39 quilts were delivered to the co-ordinator for the quilt/Christmas project at St. Boniface.A big thank you to everyone who participated in this project! Your efforts will be most appreciated by the families receiving the quilts.

Scripture for the day: (Psalm 139:1-2) O God, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.
May blessing, peace and the knowledge that we are not alone on this journey; may God be a part of our week as we wander through our challenging days and evenings, knowing the spirit of God is part of all our experiences! May we all remember God in a way that keeps us going and be strong and be kind, loving and compassionate.
