Trinity United worship for Christmas Eve December 24, 2020

Here is the link to our worship:

We hope this video worship reminds you of our regular time together on Christmas Eve. Trinity wishes you all a safe, healthy Christmas celebration.

Trinity now has “Sermon by Phone” for those without internet service. You’ll be able to call in to a local number and listen to the service for December 20, 21, and 24th. If you know someone who doesn’t have internet and would like to hear the services, please pass on the phone number: 204 410 1384 and invite them to take part or have them call the office.

Upcoming Advent and Christmas worship services:

December 24 – recorded worship – Christmas Eve for the whole family – all the familiar characters tell the story (socially distancing, of course!) along with all your favourite hymns and special music by the choir, Tom on trumpet and Debbie on flute to make this service special and unique; bring a candle to light as we sing Silent Night together. It will be available December 22nd.

December 27 – Coffee and prayer by zoom: join us at 10:30am for a time of connecting, prayer and scripture; say hi to people you haven’t seen for a while; bring your morning coffee and connect by your cell phone, tablet, computer at: or by a different telephone (204 272 7920; meeting ID: 820 4988 5467 passcode: 601757) to celebrate the season of Christmas

Sunday December 28th is the last date for donations or expenses for the 2020 year.

Sew and Sews Virtual Place Mat Sale! Our place mat fund raiser project is still on the Trinity United Church website. Scroll down under the “Adult Activities” tab to see the pictures of the beautiful place mats for sale–proceeds to go to 1JustCity along with the instructions on how to purchase the place mats. This is a very exciting venture for us–a virtual sale.  We are hoping for great results! Have a look!  We hope that you can find some great Christmas gifts for some special folks in your life.

Know that we are praying for each one of you as you find your way through this time. If you have an idea, prayer or story you’d like to share with me, please send it to me at:  I am sending out a mid-week, short email with a thought for the day and I’d love to hear what brings you hope, where you see God’s love in our world, and what you find inspirational. If you have comments, suggestions, or any thoughts about worship or how you’re doing, please be in touch. Trinity is here for you and we will respond.

May you know God’s presence and peace with you as we continue to move through this new reality,

Because of the Provincial Health order on November 30th, moving Manitoba to “Red” and closing all religious buildings, the Executive has postponed in person, indoor worship, and closed the building to all user and church groups; staff will be in for specific tasks but mainly working from home; our non-essential building is limited to 5 people for specific tasks.
