We will be celebrating communion next Sunday May 10 2020 along with special music for Christian Family Sunday. Bring a piece of bread, a bun, cracker or cookie along with some juice (grape, apple, orange, water), and have a candle ready to light or turn on and we’ll celebrate together with worship for the whole family. I’ve included a picture of one person’s communion.
The Moderator of the United Church, the Right Reverend Richard Bott, will be offering his last online worship service this Sunday. This will be a video-recorded service you can share. The easiest way to access and play the worship service is to go to: united-church.ca and scroll to the bottom of the home page. You’ll see “Moderator’s worship for May 3, 2020”, click on that and it will take you to the youtube video of the service.
Today we recorded Sunday worship service (just under 20 minutes). Like other weeks, we have uploaded it to youtube. Please click on the link below and you should be redirected to the video. The words to the hymns are on the power point. You can access it now or anytime, including Sunday morning.

In addition, we are offering:
- bible study every Monday evening at 7:15pm;
- The Big Question on Sunday May 3rd at 9:30am – led by Irma;
- Youth Group online on Sunday May 3rd 11am to noon – led by Charlie Powell
- Holy Yoga every Saturday at 10am and Monday at 3pm – led by Wynn
All of these are offered through an online Zoom call and if you’d like to take part, let me know; you can join by computer or phone.
If you’d like to support West Broadway Community Ministry, we are collecting juice boxes and granola bars. These will supplement the donated lunches they hand out every day. Juice boxes and granola bars can be dropped off Thursday or Sunday morning, 9-11am or call the church (204 260 1632) for pick up. Thanks to all who have contributed so far.
