DID YOU KNOW at Trinity’s Annual meeting, the congregation elected co-chairs of the Board: Susan Delaney and Leah Hes; co-secretaries of the Board: Elaine Johnson and Lori Clunie-Powell; vice chair of the Board: Barb Postie; and a new member of Ministry and Personnel: Sandi Fitzmaurice. We’re grateful to all who share their gifts and talents for our ministry!

Many thanks from Connie Fillion and Elaine Hansen to the volunteers who helped make Trinity’s World Day of Prayer event a success. We welcomed approximately 85 people to the service, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. Donations received for The Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada totalled five hundred twenty-five dollars and sixty cents ($525.60). We appreciate the time and talents of pianist: Wynn Ferguson, readers: Gerta de Jong, Nancy DeLong, Irma Nadeau, Judy Powell, and Debbie Spindler, PowerPoint projectionist: Jo-Anne Muldrew, sound technician: Charles Powell, greeters: Shaheeda Koning and Maryann Koop, reception coordinator: Carolyn Pierson, and all who helped with set-up, clean-up, and food contributions enjoyed by many.

Mark your calendars!  The Outreach and Christian Education Committees encourage everyone to join us on Sunday, March 22 for a presentation by Dr. Neil Craton, author of Wisdom From the Homeless. Dr. Craton will be speaking during the message time of the service.  He has volunteered for many years at Siloam Mission where he has experienced kindness, care and hope. Through his book, he hopes to “raise awareness of the overwhelming challenges faced by this group of people” .We are privileged to have him join us after the service for a short time of interaction including a light lunch.  Please join us as we welcome Dr. Craton.

We need your help for Lent Sundays! Please sign-up in the narthex (north wall) to usher, greet, read scripture, candle lighters for Lent, serve communion, and lead the prayers. Thank you for being involved in your church offering your time and talents.

With cold and flu season upon us we ask you to respect and care for one another by using the hand sanitizer provided throughout the sanctuary. Bump elbows, send a wave, smile or just say hi during this time so we can keep everyone healthy.
