DID YOU KNOW At Trinity’s Annual meeting, the congregation voted to keep the pews and chairs as they are now. This means the seating situation will remain the same with half pews and half chairs.
DID YOU KNOW at Trinity’s Annual meeting, the congregation elected co-chairs of the Board: Susan Delaney and Leah Hes; co-secretaries of the Board: Elaine Johnson and Lori Clunie-Powell; vice chair of the Board: Barb Postie; and a new member of Ministry and Personnel: Sandi Fitzmaurice. We’re grateful to all who share their gifts and talents for our ministry!
Many thanks from Connie Fillion and Elaine Hansen to the volunteers who helped make Trinity’s World Day of Prayer event a success. We welcomed approximately 85 people to the service, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. Donations received for The Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada totalled five hundred twenty-five dollars and sixty cents ($525.60). We appreciate the time and talents of pianist: Wynn Ferguson, readers: Gerta de Jong, Nancy DeLong, Irma Nadeau, Judy Powell, and Debbie Spindler, PowerPoint projectionist: Jo-Anne Muldrew, sound technician: Charles Powell, greeters: Shaheeda Koning and Maryann Koop, reception coordinator: Carolyn Pierson, and all who helped with set-up, clean-up, and food contributions enjoyed by many.
Mark your calendars! The Outreach and Christian Education Committees encourage everyone to join us on Sunday, March 22 for a presentation by Dr. Neil Craton, author of Wisdom From the Homeless. Dr. Craton will be speaking during the message time of the service. He has volunteered for many years at Siloam Mission where he has experienced kindness, care and hope. Through his book, he hopes to “raise awareness of the overwhelming challenges faced by this group of people” .We are privileged to have him join us after the service for a short time of interaction including a light lunch. Please join us as we welcome Dr. Craton.
We need your help for Lent Sundays! Please sign-up in the narthex (north wall) to usher, greet, read scripture, candle lighters for Lent, serve communion, and lead the prayers. Thank you for being involved in your church offering your time and talents.
With cold and flu season upon us we ask you to respect and care for one another by using the hand sanitizer provided throughout the sanctuary. Bump elbows, send a wave, smile or just say hi during this time so we can keep everyone healthy.
SSCFF is looking for volunteers to drive participants to and from TUC for the following Mondays March 16, 23 and 30 for the 1:00 to 3:30 pm session and on Thursdays March 19, 26 and April 2 for the 10:30 to 11:30 am session. If you can help please contact Suni.
Mary (the little person from the back of the church) has been on vacation too long! If she is still enjoying the company of your little one, it’s time for her to come home. Please return her to the back of the sanctuary so Joseph can have a break and she can join baby Jesus and the rest of her friends.

If you or someone you know has access to coupons for baby formula, please bring them to the church and put them in the appropriate container on the shelves near the washrooms. They will be collected and given to Winnipeg Harvest to purchase formula throughout the year. Thanks from Outreach.

In Case of an Emergency We have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) located to the left of the exit doors to the parking lot, a First Aid Kit, a walker, and a Comfort Care Kit located on the shelf to the left of the large entry doors to the sanctuary.
Trinity United is Scent Free Please refrain from using products that contain scents as they may affect the breathing ability of others.
From the Property Committee: We now have security cameras in our parking lot – remember to smile!
Electronic Recycling You can bring batteries, light bulbs, cords, and any electronics to the church and place them in the marked blue box in the narthex to be properly recycled. Is your old TV too heavy to carry into the church? Just call the church, leave us a message and we will be happy to come and collect it!
New: We will also collect used vehicle oil, filters and anti-freeze and any paint; call and we’ll pick it up.
