There are two job postings on Trinity’s bulletin board:

Trinity United Church, in co-operation with 4 other local congregations is seeking a Shared Youth Leader to plan and deliver youth programming at each congregation. This is a contract position beginning in September of 2018 until May 2019. This position is 10-12 hours per week, with evening and Sunday morning commitments.

Trinity United Church, an affirming congregation, has a vacancy for a Part-time Congregational Designated Minister to work with and assist the called Minister and to provide assistance and support for the various lay leaders and programs.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, aspects of: Administration, Christian Education, Pastoral Care, Worship, and Outreach.  This position is 20 hours/week starting October 2018.


Trinity’s Repeat Announcements:

Sunday, June 24 is Baptism and Confirmation Sunday!  Come and celebrate with Trinity’s youth who, after studying with Elizabeth and Milly, decided to publicly declare what they believe, and what affect that has on how they live their faith at home, at school and in the world.  They will serve Celebration Cake and Lemonade to all of us.  We thank Karen Wall for making the cake and Bev Wiens and the Christian Education Committee for setting up and cleaning up after the reception.

Bomber fundraiser! The sign up boards are posted; the schedule has been determined and we are ready for another season of parking cars and directing people at the Bomber games! If you volunteered last year, you need only do the online test; if you are new and want to join the team, you must do the online and in person training provided. Here’s the link: the Traffic B01 – Basic Fundraiser Traffic Control Training to complete the online training and test followed by the sign up for the in person training. There are still 9 people needed for the July 7 game.  Go Bombers!

In A Stew is Wed., June 20 at 5:00 PM in the lower hall.  We invite you to join us for fun, fellowship and a fundraising dinner, part of the Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner Fundraiser.  Tickets are $20, and a tax receipt of $13 will be issued.  Don’t hesitate to contact the office for tickets; only 10 spots remain.

Six volunteers needed for Sat., Sept. 8 Community BBQ and Fun Event from 11:00 AM-5:00 PM.  These are 2 hour shifts to assist with set up, cooking food, security and monitoring the site, and clean-up. Contact Jackie Snarr at

UCiM is looking for Youth, 14+, to be youth volunteers for a Vacation Bible Camp ($150) honorarium.  More information is on the bulletin board.

You and your family are invited as together we honour and celebrate the retirement of our minister, Milly Malavsky, on Sun., Sept. 16, 2018. This special event will be held at Trinity beginning with a program at 2:00 PM and a reception to follow. Bulletin Sponsorship List for 2018 is up on the bulletin board.  Please consider sponsoring a bulletin for any of the dates listed.  Bulletin Cover sponsorships range between $30.00 and $50.00; both the Easter and Christmas bulletins cost $50.00.

Electronic Recycling You can bring batteries, light bulbs, cords, and any electronics to the church and place them in the marked blue box in the narthex to be properly recycled.  Is your old TV too heavy to carry into the church?  Just call the church, leave us a message and we will be happy to come and collect it!

Please discontinue bringing grocery bags for the Food Bank.   We appreciate your response but they are no longer required at this time.
